For open-width knit goods

There is a clear tendency today for open width singeing and finishing of knit-goods. Of great importance is proper opening and uncurling of the selvedges, tension-reduced transport, a soft, not too intensive but uniform singeing, cleaning after singeing and a well working fire quenching unit.
